Showroom Sales Executives attend to walk in customers.
Implement, monitor and ensure a high level of customer service is provided at all times.
Ensure sales targets are consistently achieved and quotations are followed up regularly.
Provide regular feedback to the Showroom Manager on daily showroom sales performance.

Furniture Palace Sales Associates are compensated on an annual salary.
In addition, they have monthly incentives for the achievement of sales targets.

Position requirements include:

  • A degree or diploma holder in management related field with a specialization in sales and marketing management.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Retail showrooms of a reputed brand.
  • Highly self motivated with passion for excellence in customer service.
  • Team player with excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
  • Communications, report writing and good negotiation skills are a must.

We believe the relationship between our Sales associates and our customers is paramount to our success. This philosophy begins and ends with our Stores Manager. They are self-motivated, enthusiastic, positive, detail-oriented men and women with a passion for DRIVING SALES, by leading and coaching their teams. Furniture Palace store managers are business-minded people responsible for managing the daily operations of the store and achieving sales and gross profit goals.

The store manager sets the tone in the store by creating a comfortable and creative environment that makes customers and associates feel welcome. He or She is responsible for recruiting and motivating a performance-driven sales team.

Furniture Palace store managers are compensated on an annual salary.
In addition, they have monthly bonus opportunities for the achievement of sales targets.

Position requirements include:

  • Associate’s (2 year) degree in business administration
  • Minimum 3 years retail experience, preferably in home furnishings or fashion related industry
  • Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team
  • Ability to read and interpret profit and loss statements
  • Willingness to work most weekends and holidays

Often the first and last contact customer has at Furniture Palace store is the administrative staff at the front desk. A friendly greeting and cheerful customer service set the tone for a pleasurable shopping experience. The support staff works with customers to arrange payment for the merchandise, provide follow up on customer service issues and provide information on many other issues and questions. They also provide administrative support for the store manager, design manager and design consultants.

Furniture Palace administrative associates are compensated on an annual salary.

Position requirements include:

When a customer walks into a Furniture Palace store, their first impression must be of an attractive well-merchandised setting that will make them want to come in and shop. The visual merchandiser is responsible for accessorizing and designing the showroom floor in accordance with Furniture Palace’s specifications. The must have an excellent understanding of Furniture Palace’s style and product categories.

Furniture Palace merchandisers are compensated on an annual salary and may have responsibility for multiple stores.

Position requirements include:

  • Minimum 2 years visual merchandising experience in retail furniture setting
  • Attention to detail
  • Some travel may be required

Through our comprehensive training program, you’ll learn how to establish relationships with customers, building a base of loyal clients who trust you to help them reflect their own personal sense of style and will return to you for their home furnishing needs time and again. We’ll also teach you how to effectively use our free in-home-design service called “housecalls” – as a powerful tool for developing customer relationships and providing opportunity for increased sales.

Furniture Palace design consultants are compensated on an annual salary and may have responsibility for multiple stores.

Position requirements include:

  • Associate’s (2 year) degree preferred
  • Demonstrated flair for design and/or fashion and room planning
  • Ability to discern and coordinate colors
  • Desire to work in a competitive commissioned sales environment
  • Willingness to work most weekends and holidays

As a furniture store committed to helping people achieve the home of their dreams, our design managers have two highly defined skills: interior design and training. They must be able to help people reflect their personal style and be able to pass this kill on to the sales team.

At Furniture Palace, our free in-home design service not only sets up apart from other furniture stores but is a key ingredient for developing customer relationships and providing opportunity for increased sales. We refer to this technique as “housecalls”. The design manager not only trains design consultants on effective housecall selling, but works side by side with them on preparing customer presentations, product choices and other customer design needs. The design manager is also responsible for maintaining the design center and providing back up for store manager.

Furniture Palace Design Managers are compensated on an annual salary in addition, they have monthly bonus opportunities for the achievement of housecall sales goals.

Position requirements include:

  • Minimum 3 years professional experience in interior design, visual merchandising or other design-related field.
  • Ability to train and coach a sales team with varying levels of design skills
  • Ability to develop complete room plans using creative space and color planning
  • Working knowledge of effective merchandising
  • Retail sales experience preferred
  • Willingness to work most weekends and holidays
