IT Administartor
The I.T Administrator’s overall responsible for ICT project implementations, providing user support on IT systems/applications, maintenance of IT equipment/software and liaising with third party support to provide effective ICT systems.
Responsibilities and duties
- Generation of custom reports in SAP upon request
- General SAP administration duties e.g. user rights, data upload, customizations etc
- General servers’ administration
- General user support via emails and phone calls
- Liaising with suppliers for purchase of general ICT equipment
- Conducting daily offline backups and confirming the automated back-ups are working
- Installations and patching software applications e.g. windows, anti-virus
- Raising ICT concerns with management and updating them on existing projects
- Running monthly reports and sharing with management
- Setting up auditors in SAP and servicing any requests such as system navigation and different reports that are requested.
- Leading any major ICT projects and liaising with lead and support consultants for successful roll out.
- Participating in new branch set ups in SAP access and purchase of required ICT equipment, supervising setups, and conducting the requisite user training.
- Perform any other duties as may be required from time to time.
Education and key skills required.
- Bachelor’s degree in ICT/IT related course.
- IT professional certification course is an added advantage

- At least 3 years’ experience working in a busy environment.
Graphic Designer
The Graphic Designer’s role is to create engaging/captivating and on-brand graphics for a variety of media. The role includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. Shape the visual aspects of websites, catalogues, or required artworks. The graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. The designer needs to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design

Key Duties and Responsibilities.
- Design artworks for both Furniture Palace and Big Save.
- Working with the digital marketing team in designing websites.
- Coming up with creative ways to bring ideas to life.
- Designing new and updating current company literature following corporate branding guidelines.
- Creating new brand collateral for company, including concept development.
- Designing e-Shots and social media posts
- Designing and producing in-house marketing collateral.
- Producing promotional material for company.
- Work with internal teams to generate ideas for pitching and proposals.
- Providing quality control over own work.
- Following best practice with the design and creative team.
- Working with other team members to deliver projects and activity to deliver against deadlines.
- Presents layouts and creative suggestions in open discussions with department.
- Research advertisement trends to establish original ideas and design in the market place.
- Works with production calendar schedule to ensure advertisement layouts, posters and tags are completed and sent out within the necessary production time frames.
- Study design briefs and determine requirements
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
- Create graphics and layouts for furniture palace web banners (website), newspaper adverts(website).
- Design mail chimp adverts (email newsletters).
- Design sign-up banners (email newsletters & website)
- Publish and curate content on websites
- Create campaigns and layouts for furniture palace billboards
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned.
Skills and Competencies
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Experience of web prototyping tools such as In Vision would be an advantage
- A degree-level professional qualification relevant to graphic design
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Skilled in designing new material that fits the company.
- Self-motivated, highly organized and able to work to demanding deadlines
- Experience of designing for both web and offline
- A positive and proactive attitude
- Ability and willingness to contribute fresh and innovative ideas

Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma in Graphic Design from a recognized institution.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite packages
- Ability to work using both Pc and Mac
- At least three years experience in a similar position
- Have a well-executed portfolio demonstrating excellent design principles in layout and typography
- Interior design experience is an added advantage
